Audition

Membership in our band ensembles is by audition. Typically, prospective students audition sometime in the Fall. The audition may be at one of the published times, or auditions can be scheduled by calling 318-257-4233. This audition is primarily for membership in the Marching Band of Pride.

Prospective students who do not wish to participate in the Marching Band but want to continue their musical participation in one of the concert bands may audition at the concert audition time, normally 4 to 5 weeks prior to the end of the Fall quarter. Service awards are based on Marching Band participation.
