Students admitted into the MAT program in music will have
two advisors. Their primary advisor will be Dr. Dawn
Basinger, College of Education. Their content area advisor
will be Dr. Gary W. Westbrook, Head of Music Education.
Quarterly during the advisement period, each student should
schedule appointments with both Drs. Basinger and
Westbrook, to make sure they are continually progressing
through their Plan of Study.
Appointments are made during the advising period for MAT
students in the same way they are for undergraduate music
education majors.
